The Bestway® 800 gal Flowclear™ Sand Filter offers a highly efficient and eco-friendly solution for maintaining clean water in your above ground pool. Unlike traditional filter pump systems, this filter utilizes silica sand instead of filter cartridges, making it more cost-effective in the long run. While filter cartridges need frequent replacement, the silica sand only needs to be changed every three years.

The pump functions by directing pool water through a hose into the filtration system. The compact silica sand within traps dirt and debris with ease, allowing only filtered water to be pumped back into the pool through a separate hose. When the pressure gauge indicates that the tank is full, simply switch it to the backwash setting to separate debris from the sand. Connect a waste hose and turn the rinse valve to flush the filth and debris to a proper disposal area.

This Sand Filter is designed for compatibility with pools ranging from 300 to 4,200 gallons, making it a great upgrade from traditional filter pumps and an excellent addition to your above ground pool. The filter effectively traps dirt and debris in a durable, corrosion-resistant tank, while a pre-filter strainer basket catches larger debris such as leaves, hair, and dirt. The pump operates at a flow rate of 800 gallons per hour, ensuring clean and healthy water for many summers to come.

Additionally, the filter includes a ChemConnect Dispenser to maintain a stable level of chlorine throughout the pool, promoting gentle and skin-friendly water. The product arrives pre-assembled for hassle-free assembly, with a top flange clamp design allowing for quick and smooth installation. It is ideal for above ground pools with capacities ranging from 300 to 4,200 gallons, with an adapter included for pool valves with a diameter of 1.25 inches. Sand is not included with the filter pump.
